I have an account with Aarons and im completely miserable with them. I wish I would have never walked into that horrific scam store. Come on one day late and they are calling asking what time can you come in. Well I will come in when i have the *** time.I just cant believe all the things they dont tell you while your buying this crap. I think its robbery. You can get the same computer that they sell at Aarons somewhere else for like half the price that they would sell it for. I also love how those s.o.b's will tell you this will be 500 bucks if you pay cash, but if you rent the price ends up being 3,000 bucks.

3. Written by Aaron's not HONEST, on 20-08-2009 09:51 For those defending Aaron's practice, just know installing buisness edition Vista is illegal for personal laptops and pc'S. To ask a customer to make a copy of Sony's vista restore disks is also illegal, this was asked, when we was informed that they did not have the restore disks, and we purchased them through Sony. Everyone who goes to Aaron's does not do so because they can't pay their bills. If you purchase a pc or laptop on credit, you cannot opt to let it go back, if you do, your credit is affected. If you chose Aaron's and life has a bump, you can let it go back, credit still in good standing. Layoffs and the economy made for a decision to use AARON'S FOR LEASING/TO OWN? a laptop, while going back to school. I am responsible, this is why I chose to use a lease/purchase program. As for Aaron's being shady, I have seent this first hand, I am an honest responsible indiviual, and in that AARON'S can deal with microsoft, kid you not, if I purchase an item, pay on time I expect them to uphold their responsibilites in taking care of their end of the deal. When they chose not to do so, and then asked to make illegal copies(alot of nerve) I was insulted and shocked! So defend their actions, hopefully you are not affiliated with the store I bought my laPTOP, AND YOURS HAS LEAGL copies of Microsoft in your PC's, if not be prepared to deal with your honest customer's cokmplaints to Microsoft.

Written by zman7458, on 25-06-2009 12:13 I just made my last payment on the dell computer I bought from aarons (great computer, fair deal) but when I asked for the software that came with the computer the manager informed me that their computers don't come with software and if I need a system restore I have to bring the computer in for them to restore. WTF what a crock, I will NOT be dealing with arrons again. funny thing is my wife had seen a laptop we were going to rent/own. good thing I asked for my software first. |

6. Written by MAD, on 04-03-2009 01:58 Nunya, I have to agree with you isn't it pathetic that the Aaron's butt boys have to come on here and try to make their pathetic little petty lives seem more important?!?!! Oh and to Rusty is that your name or how your brain functions??

8. Written by anonomyous, on 02-10-2008 08:25 First of all, they could have gave him a grace period. Most rental places do. They are just a**holes. These rental companies love taking advantage of people with bad credit. I would suggest buying a used computer on Ebay. I got a good one for $155.
9. Written by Jeff, on 04-04-2008 19:31 I hardly doubt it was 6 times the amount. Perhaps you should have paid cash to begin with. You are not forced into going there to do business.
10. Written by erik, on 28-03-2008 04:02 well if you had good credit you would have bought it with a credit card and then paid interest charges. They are offering a serice which you do not have to take. You chose to accept the terms so dont freaking cry about it now!!!!!!!
